NILvault is designed to minimize compliance risk, but we cannot guarantee compliance with every school’s specific rules. Athletes are responsible for understanding and following their school’s policies.
Ambassador rewards may have tax implications. Consult a tax professional. NILvault may issue 1099-MISC forms for aggregate rewards exceeding $600 in a calendar year.
International athletes on student visas should consult their school’s international student office before participating, as this may affect visa status.
Athletes who receive aggregate rewards valued at $600+ in a calendar year may be required to disclose this through their school’s NIL Go portal or equivalent system.
NILvault is not a NIL collective. We do not pool funds or facilitate pay-for-play arrangements. Our Ambassador Program is a non-cash referral program for a free athlete platform.
